FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: to provide asymmetry of timing phases of two-stroke engine with crankcase displacement scavenging, rotary motion is imparted to piston at which projection of piston crown and cutout on piston skirt provide spool control of opening of valve timing system. Mechanism converting reciprocating motion of piston 6 into rotary motion is made in form of connecting rod 8 whose big end is made in form of universal joint 9 engaging with crank 7. Small end is also made in form of universal joint 10. Engine rotary link is made in form of crank 7 whose axis of rotation is oriented at acute to longitudinal axis of cylinder.
