FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method to produce ferromagnetic particles from cobalt-chrome alloy provides for dispersion of particles by extraction from smelt during application of magnetic field with intensity of 1-10 kOe. Produced particles have cobalt share in alloy up to 50 that allows to save up to 37 kg of it per 100 kg of initial alloy. EFFECT: method allows to save significant amount of cobalt. 1 tbl
