DOUBLE-ACTION PRESS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical working. SUBSTANCE: double-action press has a bed, an upper clamping table placed in the bed guideways and having the drive for its lowering-hoisting, a lower clamping slide with a drive and a drawing slide with a drive mounted inside the clamping table. The latter is equipped with a cylinder having a ring-shaped piston with the means for the tool fastening. The working cavity of the cylinder is connected up to the pressure source through a restricting valve. The cylinder has restricting rings. The drawing slide is placed in the piston hole. The new feature of the innovation lies in the fact that the press has a compensating ring mounted on the cylinder piston. The means for the tool fastening are placed on it. The double-action press makes simpler the design of the clamping table, presses and stamps blanks with nonparallel upper and lower surfaces without the additional adjustment. It also provides the visual control of the force value of the blank clamp. EFFECT: simpler process of the press adjustment and reduced amount of flaws. 5 cl, 2 dwg
