FIELD: machine engineering, forging presses. SUBSTANCE: press includes housing having table, traverse bars and struts tightened to rigid framework by means of pins, drive unit, coupling, braking mechanism, actuating leverage mechanism arranged in traverse bar of housing, mechanism for regulating slide effort with safety unit for protecting die set against superhigh effort; cushions arranged in table and in slide. In order to simulate forging process in presses with different effort and rigidity values and for making small lots of parts of sheet blanks, table of press in zone of applying technological loads includes carrying beams in the form of honeycomb panel carrying lower plate. Cushion arranged in table includes set of controlled power cylinders mounted in lower portion of table and it has slide coupled with reverse-stroke cylinder of cushion by means of traverse bar and tie rods. Stationary rigid supports of upper plate are arranged between cylinders of slide cushion and they are mounted in slide of press in zone of its technological loading.
