FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for limiting vehicle wheel turning angle from stop to stop, for instance, after mounting antiskid chains to prevent striking against wheel arch. Device has sliding pin set into operation by electromechanical actuator which can be controlled from vehicle control panel and/or by pickup installed near wheels. Pin is located across steering shaft in front of travel limiting unit which usually operates together with corresponding steering tie-rod to set limiting lock of corresponding wheel. When pin is in preset position, it operates together with tie before coming in engagement with travel limiting unit. EFFECT: provision of new more limited locking of wheel. 5 cl, 4 dwg
