FIELD: mainly in power engineering. SUBSTANCE: pulsating gas cooler uses casing 1 with inlet (2) and outlet (3) connections, gas distributor 4 with nozzles 5, located in gas distribution chamber 6, receiving tubes built in the casing, whose ends are combined in one or several end spaces on the opposite side of the gas distributor. End spaces 8 are separated by partition 9 into two compartments 10,12, one of which (10) through shut-off member 11 is connected to the low-pressure line or atmosphere, and the other (12) is separated by partitions 13 into chambers 14, each of them being connected to one receiving tube. All partitions 9, both between compartments and chambers, have holes 15 or slots 16. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
