FIELD: wood drying. SUBSTANCE: superheated steam with psychrometric difference of temperatures within 0 to 60 C is used as heat-transfer agent; at the beginning pressure drop is effected from 1 to 1.5 to 0.10 to 0.15 atm. and drying is accomplished at a pressure of 0.1 to 0.5 atm. with a periodic pressure drop down to 0.1 to 0.15 atm. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
