FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chromatography for identification of individual compositions and components of chemical mixtures. Chromatographic device for determination of extrapolated value of retention has two separating columns, unit of gas preparation with flow regulators and gauges measuring pressure of gas carrier in each column, automatic batch box fitted with row of dosages of fixed volume. Inlet of each column is simultaneously coupled to two corresponding fixed dosages and lines of gas carrier through shut-off elements of batch box. Outlets of columns are connected to detector through controlled pneumatic resistors and system of analysis automation to additional computer for calculation of extrapolated values of retention. EFFECT: increased precision and reduced labour input and time for determination of extrapolated values of retention to infinitely large percentage of impregnation of solid carrier with liquid phase, to zero value of sample, to zero pressure in column and so on. 2 cl, 1 dwg
