FIELD: analysis of complex mixtures of substances of natural and man-induced origin in chemical, oil, gas, petroleum industries, metallurgy, medicine, ecology. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with process of gas chromatographic analysis with use of capillary columns fixed quantities of non-sorbing gaseous substance and examined liquid substances are simultaneously metered out into chromatographic column for separation, change of their concentrations in flow of auxiliary gas under different pressures of carrier gas are measured across outlet of column. Average values of pressure of carrier gas over length of column and volumetric velocity of carrier gas during presence of non-sorbing substance is column are set independently by change of pressure of additional flow of auxiliary gas through pneumatic resistor across outlet of column in front of detector and of pressure of carrier gas across inlet to column. Facility for realization of process has unit for gas preparation, metering- out cock with three doses fixed in volume. Two of doses are aimed for various substances in liquid phase and one dose is intended for gas. Facility also includes evaporator with flow divider, capillary column connected to plasma-ionizing detector by means of pneumatic resistor coming in the form of length of tube in which outlet of capillary column is located. Upper part of tube is pinched and placed in space of detector immediately adjacent to nozzle of burner and lower part of tube is connected to pressure controller of blowdown gas and manometer. EFFECT: increased efficiency and separating capability of gas chromatographic analysis with use of capillary columns. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
