FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: soil is mixed in a separating conveyor by downward-directed pulsating air jets. The latter are delivered either successively or simultaneously throughout the conveyor length at an angle of 95-135 deg to direction of its movement. In simultaneous delivery of air jets each following zone along the conveyor travel between adjacent air jets is 1.9-2.1 times smaller than the preceding one. In successive delivery of air jets the zones between adjacent jets are the same throughout the length of the conveyor. The time interval between the delivery of adjacent air jets diminishes 1.9-2.1 times along the conveyor travel. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
