FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: there is a chain conveyer for the log feed in front of the machine and also at least one press roller for the log tightening to the chain conveyer. A rising and descending feeding roller is mounted between the chain conveyer and the machine-tool. In the lower position the roller is located below the level of the chain conveyer. In the raised position it is disposed above the mentioned level. Pairs of lateral rollers are set up on the corresponding distances in front of the machine and behind it. Interacting with the log, the rollers align or shift it in the lateral direction. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg
