FIELD: wood-working machine. SUBSTANCE: ripping circular saw has a bedplate with longitudinal guides on which a driving carriage is set up with a rotatable sawing mechanism mounted for displacement along the guides and a stationary sawing mechanism located opposite the rotatable one which provides for sawing in the direct and reversal directions. The rotatable sawing mechanism is made with two processing heads located on both sides from the longitudinal axis of the lathe. The cutting tool of the heads can change the position in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the lathe. The lathe is equipped with tilters of the processed material (log) and clamping devices for fastening it between the tilters which are made as rollers which can slow down and rotate around their horizontal axes in two directions. EFFECT: combing the advantages of the machine-tools of aggregate and carriage types results in a wide variety of products of logs of different species and of different wood quality. 7 dwg
