FIELD: fastening of parts accessible on one side only. SUBSTANCE: fastener comprises rod 14 with head located in tubular body 12 which is provided with head and tail portion. Cylindrical neck of rod is provided with shear ring which has bearing part received by circular groove. One more groove is made on rod between neck and its center portion. This groove is used to receive locking ring. Shear ring may be of different configuration. In course of assembly, after fastener has been placed in holes of parts to be connected, axial force is applied to rod. During motion of rod, projecting part of shear ring expands tubular body diametrically and is sheared at definite load. Head is formed from tail portion of tubular body on inaccessible side of parts. Rod with bearing part of shear ring is shifted till tubular body is expanded radially and holes of parts to be connected are filled. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 33 cl, 10 dwg
