FIELD: construction materials industry. SUBSTANCE: method of continuous production of melted silicate materials provides loading of charge, heating and melting by feeding of heat-transport medium in melt and tapping of heat products. Fuel-air mixture is used as heat-transport medium. Mixture is fed by separate sprays in depth equal to 10-15 diameters of spray at point of its entering melt. Total consumption of mixture is determined by ration Q = /4-10/nd2ρmeltgas with n amount af spray, d diameter of spray at point of its entering melt, meter; ρmelt strength of melt, kg/m3; ρgas - strength of fuel-air mixture, kg/m. Space between sprays of fuel-air mixture is 9-25 diameters of spray at point of entering melt. Tapping of heat products is exercised as melt achieves level defined by ratio with ho space between axis of spray and levelling of melt in case of absence of blowing. Apparatus for continuous production of melted silicate construction materials has melting chamber with blowing devices, mechanisms for charge loading and tapping of melted products Blowing devices are located on longitudinal walls of melting chamber, space between their axes is 9-25 diameters of spray at point of its entering melt and space to hearth of chamber is equal to no less than 2.5 diameters of outlet cross-section of blowing device. Lower edge of loading mechanism is located on one of walls of the chamber and spaced by 12-16 diameters of outlet cross-section of blowing device. Lower edge of discharging hole of heat products tapping mechanism is located on level of no less than 16.67 diameters of outlet cross-section of blowing device from its axis.
