FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method for continuously melting silicate materials in bubbling layer to produce heat insulating fiber and furnaces for continuous melting in bubbling layer of silicate building melts for production of heat-insulating fibers. Method for continuously melting silicate materials in bubbling layer to produce heat-insulating fiber includes loading prepared charge into melting chamber, heating and melting of charge to form melt bath, bubbling melt bath with natural gas combustion products through submerged tuyeres production of fusion products. Combustion products are fed into melt through nozzles which are placed coaxially on opposite walls of melting chamber at distance of three diameters of exit section of nozzle from melting chamber bottom. In this case, distance between longitudinal axes of adjacent tuyeres and velocity of outflow of combustion products from outlet section of nozzle are determined from mathematical expressions given.

EFFECT: increase in productivity of furnace of melting silicate materials.
