FIELD: devices for exhaust of hot aggressive gases, in gas exhaust shafts of chimney stacks in particular, in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and in chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: gas exhaust shaft of chimney stack has load-bearing envelope consisting of upper section 1 and lower section 2 at circular clearance 3 between them which is closed with circular member 4 made in form of flexible split ferrule provided with insert 8 fastened to it in width of cut 9. Surfaces 11, 12 and 13 of envelope are coated with fabric glass filler sublimated with elastic-flexible material, such as rubber or polyurethane at volumetric ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.
