FIELD: measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: piezoceramic member 1 converts the electric pulse into acoustical one which by passing through protector 2, made of vacuum rubber, and steel diaphragm 4 is fed to the liquid whose level should be measured and to damper 3 made of silicone organic rubber. The signal is fully damped in the internal space of the damper. Steel diaphragm 4, by protecting the internal space of the pickup from external effects at the instance of emitting, transmits the acoustical pulse to the liquid, the diaphragm being vibrated. The vibration of the diaphragm does not transmit to the housing of pickup 6 and pressing ring 7 because of its fixing between insulating spacers 5 which damps the vibrations of the diaphragm edges.
