FIELD: fire grates with plate-type fire-bars which may be used in reciprocating fire-bar coolers employed in cement and metallurgical industries for cooling materials. SUBSTANCE: fire grate has fire-bars with hooks which lie on beam with brackets and tensioning device for securing the fire-bar to beam. Non-working side of each fire-bar has flats which are supported by beam with brackets and ribs resting against beam; tensioning device is made in form of U-shaped clamp mounted on fire-bar hooks; this clamp passes through holes in beam web and is provided with grip engageable with beam web. U-shaped clamp may be provided with threaded ends to receive nuts with washers. Ends of U-shaped clamp may be bent aside. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 4 dwg
