FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device is designed to measure density of liquid, mainly, petroleum and petroleum products. Device has cylindrical vessel, lower cover coupled to cock fitted with pipe connection to which needle for sampling of liquid to be checked is coupled. Device is also provided with upper slotted cover. The first piston with axial hole inside is arranged inside cylindrical vessel. Piston is coupled to hollow rod with hole in its upper part perpendicular to rod axis. Hole is coupled to pipe connection by means of tube for removal of liquid taken from pipeline. Internal space of rod accommodates the second piston provided with piston stroke limiter made as a lock ring of nonmagnetic material. External part of lock ring carries magnetic disc for connection of rod also provided with magnetic disc. EFFECT: simplified construction. 1 dwg
