FIELD: prospecting. SUBSTANCE: device has rapid neutron generator and registrar. Container for placing sample to be tested, is made in form of two cylinders disposed coaxially. The container has annular cap and bottom, and is mounted at the end of Z-shaped rocker. The rocker is connected tightly with gear wheel and is suspended to the carriage with its axis. The carriage is shifted along the guides by means of ropes. Gear rack is fastened motionless to the guides for contact with gear wheel and turning Z-shaped rocker over with subsequent mounting onto the supports of the carriage. So, longitudinal axis of the carriage should coincide with longitudinal axis of rapid neutron generator and with longitudinal axis of the registrar. Neutron generator and the registrar are mounted in protecting shields and are suspended at different levels. Inlet holes of the protective shields are turned one opposite the other for "putting" container on rapid neutron generator and registrar, when the container have sample to be tested inside.
