FIELD: technology for controlling content of containers.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, container is successively rolled firstly, for detection of radioactive and spontaneously splitting substances, between spectrometric detectors of gamma-radiation and detectors of slow neutrons, while detectors, located on the sides of container, scan its sides and on basis of gamma-radiation energy evaluate presence of radioactive isotope, and on basis of flow of neutrons, presence of spontaneously splitting heavy isotopes is evaluated, then container is rolled between two impulse neutron generators in mudding screens, located on the sides, where irradiating streams are formed in turns: stream of slow and fast neutrons, stream with majority of heat neutrons and stream of gamma-radiation, of predetermined energy; result of interaction of radiation with content of container is recorded on the side of all four sides of container and signs for elements, unambiguously characterizing forbidden materials, are selected separately at time and amplitude analyzers; in the end container is rolled by gamma-spectrometric detectors, located on the side of all four of its sides, while from the sides these scan whole surface and on basis of characteristic energy lines presence of isotopes is evaluated, which form as a result of neutron activation of elements, contained in material of dangerous loads; all registered information is separately quantized by trajectory of movement of container by detectors with alignment to its beginning.
EFFECT: increased quality and productiveness of control over content of containers.
