FIELD: checking patients for internal radiation. SUBSTANCE: activity of radionuclides in respiratory tracts is measured by inhalation of highly dispersed aerosols and determination of concentration of charged particles in air exhaled. For inhalation, use is made of highly dispersed aerosols with count concentration of particles not less than 107cm-3 cu.cm and radius of 3·10-6-2·10-5cm cm. Method is implemented by means of device that has inhalator and aerosol generator connected to the former through air supply line incorporating adsorber with active carbon and electric precipitator. Aerosol particles concentration meter is connected to inhalator through sampling line incorporating electric separator of aerosol particles. EFFECT: fast and effective examination of patients running the risk of radioactive contamination of respiratory tract (personnel working in contact with radionuclides, those involved in liquidation of accidents at nuclear plants, etc.), provision for determining degree of pollution of respiratory tract with alpha and beta radionuclides. 3 cl, 1 dwg
