FIELD: spent nuclear fuel recovery. SUBSTANCE: comprehensive method involves entrapping separate harmful components in sequence in which entrapping of each harmful component is pre-separation procedure for next component. In the process, use is made of conditions and chemical agents ensuring high cleaning efficiencies for all impurities: aerosols, nitroso gases, iodine-129, radioactive carbon, radioactive krypton, xenon, and the like. EFFECT: reduced volume of secondary chemical waste convenient for long-time storage, burying, or probable reuse. 3 cl, 2 dwg
