FIELD: emergency and repair operations in tanks filled with corrosive fluids. SUBSTANCE: tight insulating suit includes overalls 1, helmet 2, high boots 4 and gloves 5. Seam 6 is located along sleeves and breast part of overalls. Zipper 7 is arranged along seam as well as flexible sealing ring 8 with fast-separable fastener 9. Seam is closed in addition by flap 10 with fasteners. Suit makes it possible to increase reliability of tightness while conducting emergency operations in tanks with corrosive fluid. If worker sinks up to waist-band, for instance, fastener 9 does not contact corrosive fluid which enhanced operational safety of worker. EFFECT: increased reliability of tightness under conditions of partial descent of worker into liquid corrosive media. 2 dwg
