FIELD: powder metallurgy, chemical, electrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: energy carrier gas is mixed with initial material to be ground. Formed gas-dust flow is accelerated in nozzle, and, then, it is directed onto obstacle or some other similar flow opposite in direction. In so doing, gas dynamic flow is supplied under conditions of periodic velocity pulsations which are effected, e.g. by exhaust jet of pulsing jet engine or piston internal combustion engine. In this case, particles of different masses periodically receive significantly different acceleration and corresponding increase of number of collisions between them that results in intensification of grinding process, i.e. higher efficiency.
