FIELD: crushing of rocks by electric pulse discharges. SUBSTANCE: material to be broken is placed in liquid between electrodes to which electric pulses are applied with voltage amplitude enough for break-through of material. Pulses are supplied at the speed of voltage rise of, at least, 1000 kV/mcs. Power value of supplied pulse is taken from offered relation. After break-through the material undergoes classification.
