FIELD: materials handling devices. SUBSTANCE: hand winch has body 2, drum 1, drum hand drive ratchet mechanism with forked handle 7 and lock. Hand winch has release mechanism with cam 6 rigidly secured on forked handle 7 engaging with lock and rigidly coupled with lock through pin. Profile of cam 6 can have two working sections of rectilinear shape inclined at equal angles to axis of lock when coming in contact with the latter. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
