FIELD: household appliances. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical lock mechanism comprises a body, a revolving cylindrical core with a central hole for the key, upper spring-loaded pins and lower locking pins, a supporting member in the form of a support pin, and a round-stem key with a hole for the supporting member. The latter has a row of additional supporting pins. The upper and lower locking pins are arranged coaxially in the radial holes of the body and core while all supporting pins of the supporting member are cantilever-mounted in the radial holes of the core, perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis so that each supporting pin can interact with one pair of the lower locking pins. Two opposite generatrices of the key stem have code recesses for the lower locking pins. The locking end of the key is made in the form of a wedge whose planes, extended to the point of intersection, form a straight line set at an angle to the key axis. The key hole is made as a rectangular slot. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
