FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has stepped drum 2 made up of two cylinders of different diameters. Made in large diameter cylinder are longitudinal through-holes which are parallel to cylinder axis and are located beyond the perimeter of small diameter cylinder. Also provided are holes for guide members 7 of key 5 and pushers 3 located in longitudinal holes of drum and not protruding beyond end face at key side. Spring-loaded pins 4 are coaxial with pushers 3 and located in lock body. Key is in the form of cylinder 5 with rods 6 and their form correspond to the form of respective pushers. Total size of each rod-pusher pair is equal to height of large diameter cylinder. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 dwg
