SUBSTANCE: cylinder mechanism of the mortise lock has a housing on both sides, fixed by a stationary drum, between the smooth surface of the core and the fastening ring mounted for rotation of the hardened washer, on the working cylindrical surface of the key there is a longitudinal rectangular groove, additionally it has key guides for the key, the length and depth of the groove for the lever on the body are made exactly along the diameter of the circular surface, and the lever is made with two projections, the working ends of which are made in the form of a cylinder surface, and the angle between their axes relative to the axis of rotation of the lever is made up to 94°, when the key rotates the core together with the lever in different directions, the working ends of the protrusion in the form of a cylinder surface abut the flat surface of the body, allowing the lever to rotate with the core up to 180° from one support to another, only a ball is mounted in the radial holes of the core, instead of the lower locking pins with a ball, the diameter of which is equal to the total size of the length of the radial hole of the core and the depth of the notch, made equal to the working surface of the key.
