FIELD: production of particle strengthened foamed metal with thin-wall closed pores. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of continuous preparation of melt composition metallic material, containing a metallic matrix and finely divided strengthening particles; foaming the melt for creating pores by feeding gas into the melt; accumulating the produced foamed metal on a surface of the melt. The melt metallic composition material may be prepared by melting a composition material with the metallic matrix or by addition and distribution strengthening particles to the melt metal or alloy with the aid of an active gas. Carbon dioxide may be used as an active gas, and refractory particles may be used as strengthening particles. The melt composition material may be a matrix of aluminium or aluminium alloy, strengthened by ceramic or intermetallic particles. EFFECT: simplification of the method. 5 cl, 4 dwg
