FIELD: cooling unit. SUBSTANCE: indirect evaporative cooling unit has casing with heat-exchanging plates, whose one side is made from moisture-proof material and other side from capillary- porous material. Plates form dry and moisture channels, which are positioned in alternation and interconnected. Moisture channels are plugged at the side of air flow inlet branch pipe. Auxiliary plates are connected with main plates and with auxiliary air flow outlet branch pipe. Dry and moisture channels are interconnected through heat-exchanging plates along plate joint line via slit and a set of through openings.
