FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: instrument current transformer has primary 1 and secondary 2 windings placed into porcelain covering 5. Secondary winding 2 is composed of sections of current carrying coils 8 of rectangular section with insulation which are produced with magnetic circuits 9, 10. In compliance with invention transformer is provided with tap leads, blocks 18, insulating washers 23 of hard material. Each separate current carrying coil has different number of turns. Sections 8 of coils have tap leads. Blocks is fixing dimensions of winding 2 as the whole are installed in insulation 4 of coils 8. They are made of cable paper.
