FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: current transformer with cast insulation has single- or multiturn primary winding 1 and secondary windings 2, the latter are dropped in screen 16 and have leads. Windings 1 and 2 are fixed in mould with the help of embedded supporting and coupling bushings and are potted with epoxy compound. Transformer is provided with insulation bushings, screen 15 of perforated foil which is applied to primary winding 1 and with supplementary supporting clamps 18. One end of each clamp has semioval grooves and the other is anchored on screen 16 on secondary windings 2 which lead is made in the form of contact bushing 9. Insulation bushings 20 are put into semioval grooves of clamps. Inner surfaces of moulds are maximally close to outer outline of windings 1 and 2. Transformer is manufactured in the shape of polyhedral body. Screen 16 on secondary windings 2 is used as damper and is composed of two parts, insulation spacing is installed in clearance between them. Embedded supporting bushing are set on insulation bushings 20 for fixing damping screen 16 in mould. EFFECT: expanded application field, enhanced operational reliability. 8 cl, 6 dwg
