FIELD: electrical and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanically re-charged soluble magnesium anodes isolated from air cathodes by multilayer separators are put into case. Two layers of perforated-corrugated PVC film with mutually perpendicular arrangement of corrugations with ratio of corrugation height to thickness of interelectrode gap 0.15-0.45, layer of hydrate-cellulose film and layer of perforated PVC film 0.4-0.7 mm thick are positioned on each side of anode. Relationship of summary thickness of anode with separator to thickness of anode is equal to 3.5-9.0. EFFECT: prevention of poisoning of cathode with products of anode process with no hindrance to removal of gaseous hydrogen from interelectrode gap, provision for reliability and simplification of design. 2 cl, 1 tbl
