FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of alkaline cells. Device punching strip includes rotating punching roller 1 with teeth 2 bevelled towards one side which bevel is parallel to axis of punching roller 1 mounted to vertical reciprocating motion, rotating matrix roller 3 with annular grooves, comb roller 7 located beneath it, pressing roller 4, guiding roller 6 and pulling straps 8,10. EFFECT: improved operational reliability with correction of side loads and prevention of breaks of punched strip, prevention of overlapping of holes by burrs. 8 dwg
