FIELD: grinding and screening of chalk-type materials. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has screen mounted on resilient supports and grinder positioned below screen. Screen is provided with vibration exciter. Grinder is made in the form of two drums rotating in synchronism. Drum shafts are positioned on parallel pins. Each drum is composed by cutter discs rigidly fixed on shaft in spaced relation one with respect to the other. Grinding beams are positioned lengthwise of shaft on outer surfaces of disks in spaced relation one with respect to the other. Edges of grinding beams are reinforced by hard-alloy teeth. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and simplified construction. 3 cl, 3 dwg
