SUBSTANCE: device for sawing apart the non-metallic materials has a hollow housing, two saws with cutting members, a drive for shifting the saw casings and a guide member. The cutting members are mounted with the identical step on the working periphery of the casing of each saw. The drive for shifting the saw casings is made as a slider-crank mechanism with two slide blocks place in the interior cavity of the housing. The guide member is fastened on the device housing and is made with a longitudinal groove having irregular cross-section. The casing of each saw is fixed on the corresponding slide block. The guide member encompasses the slide blocks and the saw casings. The slide blocks and the saw casings are mounted for the longitudinal displacement in the longitudinal groove of the guide member. The value of the maximum shifting of the saw casings one relative to another along the longitudinal axis of the guide member makes up not less than the double value of the arrangement step of the cutting members.
