FIELD: biochemical wastewater treatment. SUBSTANCE: ring-shaped cylindrical aeration tank is provided with an additional cylindrical partition reaching its bottom. The partition divides the aeration tank into an intensive aeration chamber and a settling chamber. Aerators are oppositely- diametrically installed in the cylindrical partition. Suction pipes of the aerators are provided with supply lines for wastewater, mixed silt from the intensive aeration chamber, and active silt from the stabilizer. The supply lines for mixed silt and active silt are mounted level with each other in the diffuser of the suction part of the circulation pipe. These lines are directed tangent with rotation of a propeller. A streamlining apparatus placed behind the propeller is a combination of stationary radial plates. The end-faces of the supply lines inside the circulation pipe are provided with gates. The gates are kinematically engaged with each other, and they have a vertical axle of rotation.
