FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of polyolefin containing succinic anhydride groups with above than molar excess of maleic anhydride. Polyolefin source: polyisobutylene with average molecular mass (M) 920-2000 and containing 74 mol. terminal groups as total quantity of terminal groups of the structural formula -C(CH3)2-CH2-C(CH3)=CH2 and 10 mol. terminal groups of the structural formula -C(CH3)2-CH=C(CH3)2. Mole ratio of polyisobutylene maleic anhydride 1: (2-3), respectively. Synthesized polyisobutylene succinic anhydride interacts with amine containing at least four groups.
