FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to lubricating oil composition for application in Diesel engines, which contains in base oil not more than 0.3 wt % of sulphate ash content from 0.01 to 0.2 wt % of nitrogen in succinamides, from 0.05 to 0.12 wt % of zinc in zinc dithiophosphates, from 0.02 to 0.3 wt % of nitrogen in amine-based antioxidants and from 0.01 to 0.08 wt % of boron, which in addition has the total value of parameter [(quantity of zinc in zinc dithiophosphates)×(quantity of nitrogen in succinimides)] and [(quantity of zinc in zinc dithiophosphates)×(quantity of nitrogen in amine-based antioxidants)], constituting not less than 0.015, and composition does not contain salicylate phenolate or sulphonate metal-containing detergents.
EFFECT: obtaining lubricating oil composition for application in Diesel engines, which does not contain metal-containing detergent, however, preserves excellent washing ability for engine (piston), with prevention of DPF clotting and reduction of valve mechanism wear.
