FIELD: mechanical treatment of leather. SUBSTANCE: method involves drawing ornamented pattern on a template with free space left between its fragments. Every fragment is drawn as closed contour line. Individual pieces are manufactured with contour corresponding to pattern contour. Each fragment touches the neighboring fragments. Each individual piece is connected with the neighboring one by means of their attaching using fastening member corresponding to picture pattern in the points of tangency of their contours. Net shaped thread interweaving, which margins are connected with the neighboring individual piece margins, is made to fill the space between the separate pieces. Leather articles are manufactured from separate leather pieces connected according to the ornamented pattern. Individual pieces are attached one to another with fastening members at the points of their tangency. Net shaped thread interweaving structure is attached to the free space edges between the neighboring pieces, its margins are connected with the margins of the neighboring separate leather pieces.
