FIELD: applied arts in textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying and fastening decorative parts to cloth of light-transmitting material. According to first version, at least one decorative part is made three-dimensional. Decorative parts are applied so that cloth portion is seen between applied parts. According to second version, additional decorative connecting parts are applied to edges of main decorative parts to define gaps between main decorative parts and form contours of members imitating stain glass patterns, when predetermined combination of main and additional parts is used. According to both versions, applied parts, making-up parts and base cloth have colors creating variable coloring of the entire composition imitating stain glass pattern depending upon character and direction of illumination at different times of the day.
