CIPHER LOCK Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: household equipment production. SUBSTANCE: cipher lock has body, made as a whole with two links, that have holes for locking bar with recess. One of links has hole, in which spring-loaded keeper is located. Central and four blocking pins are mounted in lock body. Central pin has cylindrical head with tooth, made by cutting, and cam, that ensures keeper lifting and lowering. Blocking pins also have cylindrical heads. Three heads of blocking pins have segmental pits with radius equal to radius of central pin head. Head of fourth blocking pin has groove to mate tooth of central pin head. Butt surfaces of blocking pins heads have "false" deepenings with radius equal to radius of central pin head. Heads of all pins are spring-loaded, engaged to each other in case they are under pressure and during central pin turning and rotation of blocking pins. Set of lock has detachable ciphering matrix with code marks and plate-type key. EFFECT: increased reliability of lock. 3 cl, 6 dwg
