FIELD: locksmith's work. SUBSTANCE: the code mechanical lock has a pack of code built-up disks with spacers, locking bolt, locking bolt detent, indicator with code characters of the angular position of the code disks, it is provided with a stepped sleeve with a flange, whose axle carries the detent having an annular groove or a segment slot, the flange has a radial hole for the locking bolt having an annular groove to receive the detent end, and its opposite end is provided with a nut, the outer surface of the stepped sleeve has longitudinal oppositely positioned grooves for the spacer boss and a slot for accommodation of the stop pin, lateral slot for installation of the locking disk having notches and characters punched on its plane in the periphery, as well as a hole for the stop pin rigidly connected with the locking disk and a straped hole oppositely positioned to it and shifted relative to the disk axis by a value providing for insertion of the stop pin in the slot of the stepped sleeve with simultaneous closing of the detent by the locking disk in the annular groove or segment slot, besides, it has code rotary built-up disks positioned on the stepped sleeve, each of them consists of an internal disk made with a slot on the inner surface for partial exit of the stop pin from the slot of the stepped sleeve, and recesses uniformly arranged in circumference on the outer surface, one of them is positioned in the same radius with the slot, and each of them can be engaged at a change of the code with the internal boss of the respective external disk, having an external boss in the same radius, whose width corresponds to the distance between the notches on the locking disk in the contour of the perimeter of the external disk, the pack of the code disks with spacers is tightened by a nut and protected against axial access by protective members on one side in the form of a protective disk located between the locking disk and the shoulder of the flange of the stepped sleeve, and on the other side, by a cover rigidly connected to the lock detent.
