FIELD: conducting strength tests. SUBSTANCE: device has sectionalized coil 3, two weights-armatures 5 and 6 with retainers 7 and 8 for connection with spring 4 and grip 1 for specimen 2. Loading is effected by moving one weight along coil; stiffness is changed by changing over retainers 7 and 8 at deformation of spring by second weight. Device is used for conducting strength tests.
