FIELD: cable industry. SUBSTANCE: enamel insulation is subjected to action of magnetic field before application on wire. Value of intensity of magnetic field is changed directly proportional to change of rate of movement of wire. Device for implementation of process has unit of preliminary feed of heat to wire, vessel with film-forming substance, unit for application of enamel on to wire, unit of feed of heat to wire with applied film-forming substance, magnetization unit and rate sensor. Magnetization unit is installed between vessel with film- forming substance and unit for application of enamel insulation. Output of rate sensor is connected through intensity regulator of magnetization unit to its input. EFFECT: capability to change physical properties of film-forming substance in considerable degree and consequently to improve qualitative characteristics of enamel insulation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
