FIELD: electronic and radio engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: wire 1 is passed through electroplating tanks installed in tandem to apply coating onto the wire after which wire is wound on reel 2. Wire is drawn through die 3 by mechanism 4, thus straightening and cleaning of wire surface is provided, its continuity is increased and simultaneously profile of contact cross section is formed. Wire formed to shape is fed by value equal to length of pin by means of clamping and feeding mechanism 4 and it passes for further forming of contact into projection upsetting mechanism 5, wire cutting and pin starting portion upsetting mechanism 6. Contact press-fitting mechanism 7 puts pins into insulator block cell according to assembly diagram. EFFECT: enhanced quality of connectors. 3 dwg
