FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: ship's rolling stabilizer has horizontal reservoirs 1 provided with valve devices 6 and 7 and vertical passages 3 of rectangular form which are brought in communication with outside water through lower cuts 4 and bottom 5; outside water is used as working liquid for stabilizer. Devices 6 and 7 are used completely filling the wind tanks with working liquid which creates additional restoring moments in case of rolling due to shift of ship's CG to side opposite to rolling or for forcing the working liquid out of wing tanks in case of emergency rolling; working liquid is forced out of wing tanks by means of compressed air or CO2, after which tanks are used as pontoons. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
