FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: cutter is designed to drill wells in all kinds of coal and soft rock. The cutter for rotary drilling has a body with a shank and two cutting blades. The cutting blades have hard alloy plates. The front edge of each plate is a blunt angle scalene wedge with its longitudinal rib passing through the wedge vertex and a positive front angle.
